At The Center for Reproductive Healing (CRH), we believe that conception is truly a ‘miracle of life’ and understand the delicate environment that is needed for pregnancy to occur. During CRH’s first year of operation, our patients enjoyed a forty percent conception rate. Using natural fertility methods within Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) including dietary modifications, hands-on massage, specific acupuncture techniques, and Chinese herbal prescriptions, CRH offers a completely safe, natural, and non-invasive approach. At the CRH office, patients will not partake in procedures which necessitate an artificially stimulated “down regulated” or “flare-up” cycle. However, if the need for ART intervention arises, CRH is able to work in tandem to support Western medical fertility treatments. In fact, medical research has proven that acupuncture can increase success with the outcome of ART by improving ovarian response and uterine receptivity. To assure that all obstacles to fertility are addressed, we request that both partners are present for the initial consultation and treatment. In addition, both partners are continually treated throughout the 120 day program, working in detail and one on one with our acupuncturist at office appointments and with instruction for the at-home exercises.

CRH’s program will help women and men enhance their reproductive potential by harmonizing their endocrine system with Chinese herbal formulations. The child bearer will be treated on a weekly basis, while the partner may only be treated on a monthly basis. With regard to men, our acupuncturist is specifically trained to treat any potential complications such as male factor infertility, stress related performance issues, and mental/ emotional complications. With regard to women, CRH’s fertility treatments consist of a variety of specialized techniques during the Follicular, Luteal, and Pre-Menstrual phases of a woman’s cycle. The menstrual cycle is considered a “fallow time” where the body is given time to rest and rejuvenate for the next cycle and attempt at conception.

To ensure personal attention, a waiting list will determine the next eligible participants, as well as a deposit. If you require additional time in the program due to physical complications which may impede pregnancy, we will customize your program for your specific needs. You may then choose to transition to the general acupuncture practice if long term treatment is indicated after the initial treatment protocol.

If conception occurs during the initial 120 days, we will you transition into acupuncture treatments that will support you through the pregnancy and the post-partum phase. Research has found that acupuncture during these times significantly reduces the chances of developing Post-Partum Depression (PPD). In addition to supporting overall pregnancy health, our practitioner is able to work with issues which may arise such as nausea, breech positioning, and labor which has reached beyond a due date.
